Double Fun

Callie was rescued as a puppy with her littermates from owners that didn’t take care of them. All of the puppies were adopted, but Callie had a birth defect on her leg that needed surgery. She stayed with Heaven Can Wait for 10 months recuperating, but found a home with a family that had already adopted a dog from HCWS and had been keeping on eye on her recovery.

HCWS Takes Tales To Tails Reading Program To Bogart’s Bone Appetit

Heaven Can Wait Animal Society’s literacy program for children called Tales to Tails has a new outreach program held at Bogart’s Bone Appetit stores in Southern Highland. Tales to Tails consistently improves the reading scores of children by having students read aloud to specially trained dogs.

Brutus, A Little Chinese Wolf

Brutus was the product of a tough life and then he was given away. The Shih Tzu was rescued by Heaven Can Wait Animal Society and adopted by a family with another Shih Tzu. Together they are becoming a family.

Sammy was returned to Heaven Can Wait after being an adopted dog for 5 years. Dog Coordinators worried about adopting an older dog, but there is a perfect person for everyone.
